LEAPS hosts special Design Lab on COVID-19 Long-Haulers

On May 19, 2021, LEAPS hosted a virtual Design Lab on behalf of MIT Lincoln Labs, DTRA (the Defense Threat Reduction Agency), and its DOMANE (Discovery of Medical countermeasures Against Novel Entities) project. This Design Lab engaged multi-stakeholder change agents from across the biomedical value chain, including some with prior military experience, in the participatory design of this novel real-world evidence (RWE) generation platform

COMING UP

Kay Larholt will speak on the webinar panel “Measuring Real-World Effectiveness and Value in Precision Medicine” hosted by the USC Schaeffer Center on June 17. The panel will focus on planning, producing and use of Real-World Evidence for down-stream stakeholders with an emphasis on regimen optimization – i.e., getting the right treatment to the right patient at the right time. The panel will be moderated by Darius Lakdawalla and will also include Meghan O’Brien
